Commonplace Coffee Opens New Location at Nova Place in Pittsburgh’s North Shore
PITTSBURGH, PA (November 26, 2018) – Commonplace Coffee today announced the opening of its newest location at Nova Place, 100 S. Commons, in Pittsburgh’s North Shore. Commonplace is in suite 103. Nova Place is a renewed historic space that was converted into a modern, mixed-use building. It now includes workspaces, common areas, restaurants and retailers.
“We’re really excited about our newest coffeehouse at Nova Place,” said TJ Fairchild, Owner of Commonplace Coffee. “The space has been repurposed to bring people together where it was once considered a dividing line between communities. It’s part of our mission as a company to bring people together, so it’s a natural fit for us. At this location, professionals can make an end-of-day coffee run, and that’s a really fun time to connect with friends over coffee before finishing the work day.”
A grand opening celebration will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, December 3. That day, Commonplace Coffee will offer free, 8 oz. MiiR travel mugs in Nova Place blue to the first 50 guests, which will entitle the holders to free drip coffee or half-off espresso beverages through February 2019 at the Nova Place location. Follow the excitement via Commonplace Coffee social media using the hashtag #commonplacenova.
The shop will initially be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nova Place offers garage and metered street parking as well as bike racks.
