Decaf Oaxaca MWP

Graham and Hazelnut with a pleasant acidity.

The locality of San Pedro Sochiapam in Oaxaca is home to a large percentage of indigenous small-holders who don’t speak Spanish but rather a local dialect, which makes collection and aggregation more difficult. Our friends at Crop To Cup Importers worked with Ramon Ruiz, who does a lot of work in the region; he worked with 350 smallholders above 1450 masl whose coffee he knew would translate well into aggregated lots. What’s even more interesting is that these smallholders are not organized as a coop, but all are certified organic. In any case, the lot comprised of the crop of this group of producers is a real stunner as a Water Processed Decaf.
