This marks our fourth year working with Sundog Trading and Baho Coffee, an incredible importing and exporting duo. This special edition coffee release is an anaerobic natural processed lot from the 7-farmer Abishyizehamwe Hill Group: Fidel Manigaba, Claver Ntambara, Celestin Uwizeyimana, Syliver Nsekuye, Dorothe Akimana, Didacienne Nyiramakuba and Eperance Mukamparanyi. Translated from Kinyarwanda, Abishyizehamwe means people that came together. This name is a perfect representation of the group’s ongoing work. The Abishyizehamwe Hill Group was established by its founding members when they noticed that other farmers in the Remera growing region were not as passionate about producing coffee. The group seeks to create a culture where other producers can look to their plots for inspiration and learn new farming practices.

We selected this coffee for its floral and fruity profile, complexity, and for its red wine finish. We are thrilled to represent the amazing organizations that made this coffee possible. Cheers!
