New Subscription Options

We now have three subscription options: Classic, Explorer, and Subscribe & Save.

 

Classic Subscription: Perfect for those who love consistency and timeless flavor profiles. Only staple, long-term coffees are featured in this subscription. You'll get to know and enjoy each coffee and its nuances. These are tried and true favorites – you can't go wrong.
 

Explorer Subscription: Enjoy limited single origin lots and blends from coffee producing regions all over the globe. Take the stress out of selecting your next coffee and rely on the sourcing expertise of our roasting team. Receive subscriber-exclusive coffees that are ONLY available to those in this plan. 
 

Subscribe & Save: Found a coffee you love? Enjoy the same coffee every time with subscribe & save on our always-available coffees.

New Subscription Functionality

Once you've selected a subscription, you can sit back and enjoy regular deliveries of delicious coffee. That said, there are a few common changes you may wish to make. We'll walk you through how to manage a subscription from your user account. Note: Please use the green arrows to click through the example screenshots below. To get started, you'll need to access the subscription portal. Here's how:

  • Select the "Account" icon at the top right corner of the Commonplace Coffee homepage (see slide 1 below).
  • Enter your credentials.
  • Once logged into your account, select "Subscriptions" at the bottom right (see slide 2 below).
  • On the "My Subscriptions" page, click the order number of the subscription you wish to adjust. In the example pictured, you would click #1109 to enter that subscription product. You will be able to make any desired changes from this next screen (see slide 3 below).

Issue #1: I ran out of coffee or have too much coffee!

If you ran out of coffee and would like to move up your renewal date, follow these steps: 

  • Within the selected subscription product, scroll down to the section titled "Billing Schedule."
  • Continue to scroll down past previous orders until you see the next upcoming order renewal date.
  • Click "Reschedule" (see slide 1 below).
  • A calendar will appear for you to choose a new date for your next subscription renewal. Select your desired date and click the green "Save" button (see slide 2 below). 

If you have too much coffee and would like to pause your subscription, follow these steps:

  • Within the selected subscription product, scroll down below the "Payment Method" section.
  • Click "Pause My Subscription" (see slide 1 below).
  • You can resume your subscription from the same location when you are ready for more coffee.

Issue #2: I would like to update the personal information associated with my subscription.

To update your payment information or billing address, follow the below steps. Note: For security reasons Commonplace Coffee is not able to update your payment information. 

  • Within the selected subscription product, scroll down to the "Payment Method" section on the right-hand side of the page.
  • Click "Edit" at the top right corner of the "Payment Method" box (see slide 1 below). 
  • A dialog box will appear that says "Email Sent". You will receive a secure link to the email address associated with your account to ensure that your payment information is protected and editable only by you (see slide 2 below). 
  • In the email, click the "View Payment Information" button in the email you received (see slide 3 below). 
  • You will be able to update your payment method and/or billing address on this screen (see slide 4 below). 

To update the shipping address or email associated with your account, follow these steps:

  • To update the email address associated with your subscription, click "Edit" at the top right corner of the "Contact" section (see slide 1 below). Make your adjustments and click the green "Save" button.
  • To update your shipping address, click "Edit" at the top right corner of the "Shipping" section (see slide 1 below). Make your adjustments and click the green "Save" button.
