In 2020, we kicked off our collaboration with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC). The Sensory Nature Trail Blend will be the eighth collaborative coffee we’ve released with the incredible PPC team. Proceeds from this blend support the brand-new Outdoor Discovery Space and Sensory Nature Trail at the Frick Park Environmental Center – a first-of-its-kind space in a Pittsburgh public park, designed to allow children with physical and intellectual disabilities and children with different sensory needs to connect with nature in a safe and accessible way. It’s official grand opening is set for May 15, 2025.

This blend features three coffees. The first component is from Ella Todos Santos, a coalition of women producers in Guatemala; their washed coffee is clean, sweet, and balanced, providing a solid core for this blend. The second component, Teojomulco, is a washed Mexican coffee, with notes of chocolate and dried fruit. The final component is a natural Colombian coffee from Jorge Rojas that is bright, tropical, and incredibly sweet, adding a delicate complexity to the blend. Together, these coffees form an accessible, sweet, and fruity flavor profile to accompany us on the warm spring days to come.

Shipping Information

We operate Monday-Friday and strive to ship your order within 2 business days of the order or renewal date (not including weekends.) Your order will be shipped by UPS or USPS to your door. You will receive a tracking notification when your order ships.

Roasting Information

All coffee is roasted fresh to order on our Loring S35 Kestrel Coffee Roaster. All bags are stamped with the roast date, and we think coffee tastes best if consumed within 2-4 weeks. However, if left whole bean and stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, the coffee can remain enjoyable for up to 4-6 months, depending on the bag or container. Most of our coffee is roasted to a medium or light/medium roast level, except for All Day, which is our staple dark roast offering.
