We’re excited to introduce our newest offering, presented in collaboration with 91.3 WYEP. This blend was inspired by the WYEP team’s description of their organization: eclectic, unique, and funky. Proceeds from Mixtape Blend benefit WYEP.
This is a blend of two coffees, the first comes from Aponte village in Nariño, Colombia. It is a silky coffee with notes of strawberry and chocolate milk. The second blend component is exported by Baho Coffee from Akagera processing station in the Bushekeri Sector of Rwanda. This lot was produced by widowed and single women in the area. The coffee is acidic and tart, with notes of lemon and cranberry. The two components in this blend come together like an album with no skips. The final product is a sweet, cranberry and citrus-forward cup with notes of stonefruit, like cherry and pomegranate.
