Commonplace has had a connection with Reeger’s Farm since 2003, when we first opened. They baked some of the first pastries that were delivered to our only coffeehouse at that time in Indiana. They hosted our familes at their annual Pumpkin Festival. They were morning regulars in our shop. Our family and friends worked on the farm, created delicious food in their kitchen, and spent weekend mornings sharing coffee and telling stories.

After the farm closed in 2013, Commonplace wanted to find a way to have this beautiful space, amazing cooking talent, and of course, wonderful people back in our lives. In June of 2015, Commonplace launched its first official non-coffee project: Commonplace Bakery at Reeger’s Farm. With weekly standbys like the famous blueberry muffins and chocolate chip cookies to a rotating menu of seasonal treats (lemon ricotta muffins anyone?) and sandwiches, Commonplace Bakery at Reeger’s Farm has crafted a menu that compliments the coffee but is also an exciting experience with a story all its own.
