DIRECTIONS

Our Shadyside location serves as a place of confluence, the merging of two significant parts of our business: combining our cafe and baking operations under one roof.

Since our bakery first started operating in a small kitchen space at a farm just outside of Indiana, Pennsylvania, we were excited by the prospect of offering fresh, approachable baked goods, designed to pair perfectly with coffee. We continued to dream of ways to integrate our bakery and coffee program more closely together, and as the business grew, the desire to expand our baking operations to better serve our Pittsburgh cafes grew along with it.

Even after 20+ years, we’re still surprised by how opportunities can arise unexpectedly. That’s how the former Georgie’s Corner Cafe space felt, as we approached 2026 with a goal of finding a place for our team to begin Pittsburgh baking operations.

It was very early in the year when we connected with George and Beth, and everything quickly fell into place. A space for our bakery team to begin producing delicious breakfast and lunch items for our Pittsburgh cafes AND a new cafe. Our first truly shared space.

On an accelerated timeline, our incredible team worked quickly to make what was already a great space our own. We feel honored to continue the tradition of Georgie’s Corner Café, stewarding a true neighborhood space where community can gather together. We’re also excited about how this space will evolve and what we’ll be able to offer with so much talent and collaboration in one location.

You can find us on the corner of Walnut and Maryland streets in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood. Two-hour parking is available on the surrounding streets.
