PITTSBURGH, PA (December 17, 2020) – Commonplace Coffee this week launched a new and innovative product to its line – Steeped Coffee’s single-use, single-serve coffee bags filled with Commonplace’s signature Morning Blend. Steeped Coffee bags brew a cup of coffee just like a tea bag, and the bags are sold at commonplacecoffee.com and at all Commonplace cafes for $2.50 a bag or $12 for a five pack.
“Specialty-grade instant coffee has seen a lot of growth during the past few years, and we’re so happy to partner with a company we think is keeping the unique flavor of each farmer’s coffee intact while limiting the ‘instant coffee flavor’ that’s all too familiar,” said Dave Smallhoover, Roasting Operations Manager for Commonplace Coffee. “This innovative brewing product allows us to continue building community not just in our neighborhoods, but conveniently in campgrounds, travel destinations, and anywhere you can find a cup and boiling water.”
Steeped Coffee bags simply require hot water to prepare premium coffee – just submerge, saturate and steep. The bags contain Commonplace’s ground coffee that is nitro-sealed for freshness up to six months in fully compostable and renewable packaging. Steeped Coffee uses a unique construction of food-grade and plant-based materials without glues, staples or wasted materials – all to ensure the perfect cup of coffee. Steeped Coffee, where convenience meets quality.
