More than a year after we first closed our doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Commonplace is excited to officially welcome guests back inside all of our cafes. It’s a joy to see your smiling faces again, and we can’t wait for what is to come. Our founder TJ Fairchild opened Commonplace with the goal of creating a space that would foster and build community through coffee. He says, “Coffee has always been an important part of what Commonplace does. However, the heart has always been rooted in serving people. I was not prepared for how much our closure would impact me personally. After once again connecting with each store after dine-in services were reinstated, my heart was filled to see people working, talking, and reading. It was wonderful to see baristas welcome folks, banter, make eye contact, walk out from behind the bar, and serve guests. I am so grateful to be a part of an organization that elevates human experience to such an important level.”To welcome you back to the human experience of sitting among friends and neighbors in a shared cafe space, we’ve outlined our current policies and hours of operation at each location.
Updated dine-in policies:
- Indoor seating with slightly reduced capacity
- Ceramic cups and glasses available to dine-in guests
- Reusable cups welcomed, enjoy a 10¢ discount
- Mask wearing is encouraged but no longer required for guests
- Staff will continue to wear masks
