Cooler weather means the return of this beloved seasonal blend! 

This year’s Winter Solstice Blend contains three coffees. The first component is from Amino Aba Keno in Ethiopia, a stellar natural coffee with zesty acidity and subtle notes of citrus and berries. The second component, Ella Todos Santos, is a washed Guatemalan coffee that is sweet with notes of apple and caramel. The third component is an anaerobic natural processed Robusta from Kerehaklu Estate in India; this coffee has predominantly nutty notes with a subtle fruity finish and silky body that adds balance to the blend. Together, these coffees form a warm and comforting flavor profile to accompany us on the winter days to come.

We have found this blend to shine brightest as espresso! We recommend grinding this blend just a touch coarser than you usually do; try using a 1 : 2.75 ratio, and do not be worried about slightly faster brew times than usual!

Shipping Information

We operate Monday-Friday and strive to ship your order within 2 business days of the order or renewal date (not including weekends.) Your order will be shipped by UPS or USPS to your door. You will receive a tracking notification when your order ships.

Roasting Information

All coffee is roasted fresh to order on our Loring S35 Kestrel Coffee Roaster. All bags are stamped with the roast date, and we think coffee tastes best if consumed within 2-4 weeks. However, if left whole bean and stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, the coffee can remain enjoyable for up to 4-6 months, depending on the bag or container. Most of our coffee is roasted to a medium or light/medium roast level, except for All Day, which is our staple dark roast offering.
